How this estimate works
Each repair's range comes from HomeAdvisor's garage door cost guides, updated June 2026 (repair, springs, openers, new doors). The estimator adds the low ends and the high ends of what you tick. If you tick a spring and cables together, it uses HomeAdvisor's lower same-visit cable range.
The Connecticut line is the upper half of the national total. That's not a guess at any company's price: it reflects that Connecticut repair labor costs more, with the Bureau of Labor Statistics putting the state's median repair-worker wage at $27.70 an hour versus $23.84 nationally (May 2025).
These are published ranges, not quotes. Your price depends on the door, the parts, and the company. For what drives the price and the red flags, read our Connecticut garage door repair cost guide.
